At the annual Publishers Advisory Group meeting hosted by Copyright Clearance Center, CCC’s Chris Kenneally explored the promise and the pitfalls of digital disruption in education and related publishing with a panel of publishers, educators, and journalists. Commenting on the issues were Kyle Courtney, manager of faculty research and scholarship at Harvard Law School; John Marcus, higher education reporter for the Hechinger Report; Peter Stokes, executive director of postsecondary innovation in the College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University; and Scott Virkler, senior vice president product, programs, and portfolios for McGraw-Hill Education.
