For BookExpo America 2010, Spanish publishers and authors bathed in the spotlight of the Global Market Forum. That special focus brought Beyond the Book’s Chris Kenneally together with a pair of Spanish novelists whose work and lives have been shaped by their time in the United States. Eduardo Lago is an award-winning novelist, translator, and literary critic, currently living in Manhattan; and Barcelona-born Eduardo Mendoza lived in New York from 1973 to 1982, working as a United Nations interpreter.
