Digital disruption can deliver a crushing blow, but technology may also help to repair the damage – just ask Hulu or iTunes. Content creators have suffered withering technology attacks on copyright for nearly two decades, and they are seeking refuge in the positive application of technology.
On January 24, 2017, the eighth annual one-day conference Copyright and Technology explores what works – and suggests promising directions to pursue. Bill Rosenblatt, president of New York City-based GiantSteps Media Technology Strategies, is the conference program chair and co-producer, and he offered a preview to CCC’s Chris Kenneally.
